Stefan has 28 years experience in telecoms gained as a Director of a mobile operating company and as a specialist telecoms management consultant. He has worked in developed markets in Europe, Canada and the US and also in emerging markets in the Middle East, Africa, and the Far East. As the 2nd person on the ground he played a pivotal role in launching Nedjma, the 3rd Algerian mobile operator. Stefan has worked on over 70 mobile licence bids and spectrum valuation projects. Co-author of the Economist’s Guide to Business Planning.

Graham is a co-founder of Coleago and an expert in business planning, strategic analysis and planning, financial forecasting and valuations and business modelling. Graham has more than 25 years’ experience in the telecoms sector and specialises in spectrum valuation, auction design and bidding strategy. Graham holds graduate and post-graduate degrees in Economics from Trinity College, Cambridge and is a qualified chartered accountant. Graham is also the co-author of the award-winning Economist’s Guide to Business Planning and Guide to Business Modelling. Outside of the telecoms industry, Graham is an ultra-endurance athlete and has represented Great Britain as an age-group athlete in Olympic and Ironman distance triathlon.

Scott has over 20 years experience in the telecoms sector. Formerly the Chief Strategy Officer for KPN’s International Mobile division and CEO of KPN’s €1bn Mobile Wholesale business. Prior to that he worked in the City of London as an equity analyst and earlier in his career for Arthur D. Little, Ericsson and Telstra. He holds a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from Melbourne University and an MBA from Oxford University. Since joining Coleago, Scott has run many complex fixed and mobile strategy assignments, including spectrum valuation and auction projects.

Chris has 40 years international senior management experience in the Telecommunications and Media sectors.  He has worked in more than 20 countries at CxO level for network operators, equipment vendors and media companies. His main areas of expertise include: business/technology strategic planning; product/service/solution development and operations; and, network/OSS/BSS performance improvement – particularly through managed services (MS) and network sharing.

Matt has over 30 years of experience in the ICT industry. He is an accomplished telecoms strategist, business modeler and executive trainer, and has unrivalled expertise in digital infrastructure and telecoms regulation. Matt is the co-head of Coleago’s regulatory practice. As associate professor at EADA Business School, he teaches Masters and MBA programmes on business strategy, innovation and management consulting skills. Matt has worked in more than 100 countries.

Domingo has 16 years experience of working in telecoms and in particular in the regulatory and interconnect field for mobile and fixed operators and regulators in Asia, Europe and Africa. He is the co-head of Coleago’s regulatory practice. Domingo holds an MBA Instituto de Empresa Madrid, MA in Economics ICADE, Universidad Pontificia Comillas Madrid and an MA in Business Admin, ESB Reutlingen.

With 20 years in telecoms, Alison is a senior telecoms professional experienced in strategy, commercial support, business planning and spectrum consultations and auctions gained within the Telecoms sector in Europe, Asia and Africa. During 2001-03, she was the head of International Business Planning and Business Development for Orange where she set up the new Business Development and Business Planning group.

Phil Roberts, MSc, CEng, MIET, Managing Consultant

Over twenty-five years experience of providing technical/ operations due diligence, business planning/ modelling, procurement, and programme management services to telecoms operators and investors. Phil has extensive mobile technology expertise including GSM, UMTS, LTE, TETRA and microwave radio.

Mark Cornish, BSc, MIET, Managing Consultant

25 years experience in the telecoms, defence and high technology sectors with a focus on next generation fibre optic and wireless strategies. Mark spent 6 years as regional CTO with Millicom International Cellular engaged in wireless licence acquisition, start-up deployment and network transformation in emerging markets. Solid technical, engineering and commercial background with experience gained in both wireless and fixed operations. Extensive experience encompassing licence  acquisition, regulation, due diligence, performance and cost improvement.

Rob Borthwick, BA, MA, MSc, Managing Consultant

Rob has worked for the European Commission as a telecommunications regulatory expert. He has also worked for fixed and mobile communication providers in the UK on interconnection, pricing and regulation. For Vodafone, he led on UK regulatory affairs before moving to manage regulation for Vodafone’s international business in the EU and, then, in emerging markets.

He subsequently became Head of Group Regulatory Affairs with Axiata Berhad where he was responsible for management of regional and national regulatory priorities in Axiata’s South & South East Asian markets and for regulatory due diligence in conjunction with M&A.  With Coleago, Rob has carried out regulatory and licencing projects for both regulators and operators.

David Conn, MFin, BEng, ACMA, Managing Consultant

A qualified accountant and telecoms finance professional with a Masters Degree in Finance from the London Business School.  Over 15 years experience in the telecoms sector including 9 years in management consulting and 6 years with a US holding company investing in emerging markets telecoms and media ventures.  A specialist in business modeling, financial forecasting and valuation within the telecom sector, David has led the financial modelling and valuation aspects of international telecoms projects, advising on spectrum valuation, acquisitions and strategy.
