“When the rate of change outside exceeds the rate of change inside, the end is in sight.” Jack Welch In a market place where clients and consumers are addicted to ever faster speeds and connectivity, paranoid by security breaches and impatient for continuous innovation, it can be easy to overlook the need to keep managers’ leadership skills and mind-set advancing at the same rate of pace as technology. This course ensures managers in the telecoms industry are equipped for leadership in the ‘Volatile Uncertain Complex Ambiguous’ (VUCA) world in which we operate This course is designed on the psychological foundation that for behavioural change to occur, managers need to expose, question and rethink the values and beliefs that they hold about themselves, others and the role of leadership.
What do participants have to do?
This 3-day hands-on course focuses on 3 key elements of leadership:
- Leading and understanding self
- Inspiring others
- Motivating change
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about leadership in a VUCA world and be encouraged to challenge their personal belief system about themselves and leadership through participating in various learning sessions for example; peer feedback, personal disclosure, group projects and executive presentations.
