Tim brings a wealth of commercial experience through his background as an academic up to PhD level and thirteen years working for Royal Dutch Shell. During this time, Tim worked with a wide-range of stakeholders and leading teams of individuals within and across countries. Tim’s experience covers roles in programme, change and project management. He has lived and worked in several countries and cultures and, as a result, has developed a strong belief in team work and an approach to building strong business relationships with a diverse matrix of demanding business challenges and stakeholders. Tim has held leadership roles in the UK, Greece and France, taking in start up business, operational excellence, continuous improvement and strategy.
Throughout his career he has had to deliver significant business results leading to operational and strategic bottom line value of global importance. His achievements include being accountable for the sales and operations planning for 120 countries with a turnover in excess of $4bn; leading a global culture change behaviours programme which delivered $31.2m and improved key areas of communication between sales and marketing. It was during this latter programme, bringing teams together to deliver business results, that Tim identified the importance of understanding end-to-end business processes, particularly when working with multi-disciplinary and global teams.
Tim set about building a fit for purpose training program for sales, marketing, finance and supply chain executives, that would truly develop and test their leadership skills in communication, collaboration, performance and growth. It was this challenge that led Tim to make the decision to be a ‘leader who develops leaders’ and work as a facilitator for senior, middle and first-level managers. Tim is passionate about defining the strategy and vision of a company, whilst bringing a pragmatic and credible perspective on leadership and management development.
