Ade Ajibulu is a highly experienced regulatory economist and business strategy analyst with over 30 years’ experience in the telecoms sector.
Ade began working in telecoms as a Senior Consultant for Analysys Ltd., after completing an MPhil at Cambridge University, and advised a wide range of commercial and public sector organisations. Ade was responsible for project management and worked on universal service demand forecasting, regulatory economics and business planning issues.
Subsequently at Ofcom, Ade led the economic analysis in many of Ofcom’s key projects on spectrum, in particular auctioning spectrum for mobile communications. He also worked on wider competition issues in the mobile sector.
Since 2011, Ade has been working as an independent consultant in these same areas, for example: analysis of business models and socio-economic benefits for 5G use in the EU; analysis of universal service fund and costs in Liberia and Malawi; advising on spectrum management strategy and auction policy in Pakistan, Kenya and Botswana; and assessing policy options to increase affordability of mobile broadband in South Africa for the World Bank.
