Simon Woodland
BBusSc, ACA, BFP Managing Consultant , South AfricaSimon Woodland is a member of Coleago’s financial modelling and training team, and is a seasoned management consultant with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, valuations, licence bids, financial forecasting and business planning.
Simon has over 30 years’ experience in professional services and business. Much of his early career was spent in formal management consulting covering a wide range of engagements from high end strategy consulting for large corporations, through to business plan development and capital-raising for small start-ups.
A qualified chartered accountant, Simon has served as the Chief Financial Officer of two telecoms businesses and a commercial Pay-TV operator, and for the last 13 years, has consulted for businesses on strategic and financial modelling issues. More recently, his advisory work has focused on business intelligence – identifying value drivers, selecting appropriate KPIs, developing and cleaning data sources and creating suitable dashboards for data presentation.
Simon has worked on multiple licence bids for mobile operators, including working on stakeholder management and developing coherent professional communications.
