David Barker
BEng, MSc Managing Consultant , United KingdomDavid is a cellular network and technical radio spectrum domain expert in Coleago’s spectrum strategy and spectrum valuation practice areas. He is a specialist in the analysis of spectrum holdings, inference risks and development of technical valuation models.
David is a Chartered Engineer and a 30-year veteran of the radiocommunications industry. He is an experienced senior professional engineer and has spent his career working with and for telecoms consultancies, cellular operators in all continents, military communications, RAN eco-system hardware vendors, RAN design software vendors, and spectrum regulators. A recognised thought leader and a strong communicator, David is able to articulate the benefits, impacts, risks, opportunities and the technical value of radio spectrum to a wide range of audiences. He has filed and been granted numerous patents and has published many papers. David has been an active speaker at industry events throughout his career with a focus on interference analysis, mitigation, network optimisation, cellular antenna systems and spectrum valuation.
